Where We Stand
League Program History began in 1920, has been revised several times, but is still based upon the League principles:
  • A representative government
  • Individual liberties as established by the Constitution of the United States
  • An informed electorate
  • The right to vote
  • Free public education
  • Financing and coordination/communication between government agencies
  • Responsiveness to the will of the people
  • Fair taxation policies
  • Conservation and development of natural resources
  • Sound domestic policies
  • Cooperation with other nations for world solution
