1. The Voter may be sent to prospective members three times.
2. Board members who cannot attend Board meetings will notify the President in advance and send a
member of the committee to the meeting, if at all possible.
3. A copy of every League communication (except "thank you" notes) shall be sent to the President.
4. Expenses which are to be reimbursed should be turned in to the Treasurer, either by invoice or itemized list.
5. The outgoing President may not be an elected member of the Board for one year after going out of office.
6. All members of the Board shall turn in their files at the expiration of their term of office or upon resignation.
7. Non-League announcements must be submitted in writing, in advance of the meeting to the presiding officer.

9. League members running for public office will receive no special recognition in the Voter prior to the election.
10. Registration fees will be paid for all voting delegates to the State and National LWV meetings, if funds are available.
Other delegate expenses will be left to the discretion of the Board for payment.
11. One copy of League materials and publications will be provided by the League for the use of study committees.
12. Functions, other than League activities, should not be noted in the Voter if there is a conflict of dates.
13. In accordance with National and State guidelines, League membership and representation in coalitions will be reviewed
annually and must be approved by the Board.
14. Elected Board members are limited to six consecutive years on the Board.
15. Payment of dues:
sent to the State and National organizations.
16. Our membership list is not to be given out to the public.
17. The annual program of the monthly General Meetings must be approved by the Board of Directors as well as
any substantial changes to this program thereafter.
18. LWVM/S checks are to be signed by two authorized signers: president(s) and treasurer
19. Prayer - In order to respect all faiths no prayers are offered at LWV functions. However, occasions
may indicate a moment of silence.
